This is for anyone who has asked this question...The simple reason why we have a killer Socom and deadly M191 amongst normal weapons is that we still enjoy good old fashioned fast and frenetic Deathmatch with an extreme and deadly fast weapon, but we also now play CTF and INF, which is no good with 1 shot kill... so we have compramised and now have it so we can play CTF & INF with just very slightly modded weapons.. (the 2 pistols are not available in CTF & INF) and when the map cycle gets to an extreme damage map, the Socom and or M191 is available and IS extreme... so we get the best of both worlds... this is our innovation, we were first to do this, and yes, we are proud of it!

only 1 thing: i always forget to change my weapon after a CTF/INF map, is there a way to remove that crappy other handgun (idk the name now) from the weaponlist, cause nobody is using that1 at all!!! Wink

Mmmm, like your idea to make the other pistol, Colt M1911A1 i think, more powerful, will certainly try that, good idea Wolf.

But taking out the shotty for inf and ctf, not a good idea. AK and shotty are the main weapons used in both game types and it would be too weird without it, I think. If the M19 was a more powerful gun, it would have to be made to work with only a short range, to keep it like the shotty (how our shotty WILL be) otherwise it would getting close to a one shot kill weapon, which is exactly what we dont want in inf or ctf.

But you have given me a good idea here... maybe I could mod the M19 so its a touch faster (well, same reload speed as the shotty is) and turn it into a double deadly radiation spewing 44 Magnum type gun (lolk) and use this instead of the shotty in the shotty only maps, call them the 'feeling lucky punk?' maps, so we have a dif type of wep/game for DM as we do now with the shotties, but we get to keep a less powerful (in range) shotty which is how we need it to be for the team game maps...

Got shit loads to do this week.. working on the wep mod is one of them...

Wow! Great idea P! Turn the shottie into our side-arm for INF and CTF, (which I cant live without!) and make that m19 pistol a modded wepon of "feel lucky punk" style... WIKKED!! I really like that alot. Good luck with the modding brotha - hope it goes smooth! Cool
