Hi guys.

Would you lot be interested in a small cod4 scrim, say 3v3/4v4. I offered to take over as match organiser for our group of lazy c***s and noticed 2nite you still have your cod4 server.
I'm in the middle of sorting out our first match since before last bloody Christmas Rolling Eyes

hopefully it will be a week this sunday, only a small TDM war 4 x 15min, maybe some of you lot who have got or still play COD4 might fancy a fun match, i wanna try and get the lads back into playing together as a group.

Ok cool thx for the replys.

Well yesterday we played against a team called TheTwistedMinds and it was a huge success. No bitching, no hackers, no glitches or map exploits everybody showed and had no connection problems, it went really smoothly and on time, prolly one of the best scrims i've played in and all thx to the players of both teams, all i had to do was post in the forums and keep in touch with thier warmonger. I copy and pasted from our site to show you the scrim format:

Team : !TTM!
Website : TheTwistedMinds <<REGISTRATION>RANKED<
Date/Time: Sunday 5th July 8PM GMT/9PM CET with second leg of match to be played at the other teams server
Gametype : TDM
players: 8v8/9v9
Match Format : 4 x 15min
Maps : As the 1st leg of the scrim is at home, we choose all 4 maps.

I know i mentioned just a small scrim but how many players do you think you can get. I mentioned a small scrim as i was unsure how many of OUR guys would show up yesterday, as it happens all 8 members that replied to my thread in our forum showed up plus 2 more that didnt reply. Lucky for us half way through the scrim TTM had another member show so only one of our guys was spectating and i offered to sit out the next round so he could play, which TTM didnt mind at all.

The scrim would consist of 2 matches, one home on one date, and another away at a future date. This has proven to be a better way as changing servers half way through a match can cause all sorts of connection problems, people not having bothered to find out the password, server admins forgetting to close the server off or setting something or other, plus it gives each team enough time to settle in at thier oppositions server where 9 times out of 10 they havent played at and are not used to settings, gun strengths etc etc.

I'd like to maybe set this up for 3 weeks time, maybe Sunday 26th July how does that sound? Gives us both just under 3 weeks to get things organised. I will post in my forum and see who is interested and keep visiting here regular.

As this is a fun scrim and nothing serious like a ladder or league i dont see why we have to keep it to members only. I have played in COD4 scrims before when members of other clans have made up the numbers, and even had 2 different teams for red and blue, so there were 4 clans in the same scrim, 2 clans for each side, the more the merrier i always say Smile

Good to see your enthusiasm for the game... sounds like a great clan war, just how i like 'em - not tooo serious. Been a while since FF got together and played COD4...

A couple of problems with your plans Spoon...

1. Party weekend for me 25th/26th July
2. I wouldnt like to say, but i think our COD4 numbers are low...

But time will tell....

I mean, maybe I can beat his ass for once lol. We need to move fast tho, no telling how long his noobness will remain intact, but I have my doubts.
